Last Updated: June 2026
We look forward to welcoming you to Ellie's in Long Beach. To ensure all our guests receive exceptional hospitality and dining service, please review our reservation guidelines and booking policies below.
1. Standard Dining Bookings
- Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 30 days in advance through Resy or by calling the restaurant directly at (562) 437-4837.
- Table Holds: We hold reserved tables for a maximum of 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation time. If you are running late, please notify us. After 15 minutes, the table may be released to waiting guests.
- Seating Windows: To accommodate all bookings, we allocate a dining window of 90 minutes for parties of 2, and 2 hours for parties of 4 or more.
2. Special Dining & Chef Experiences
- Bookings for our Monday Supper or Ginger's Tasting Menu require credit card details to secure the reservation.
- Cancellation Policy: For special experiences and tasting menus, cancellations or reductions in party size must be made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation.
- Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, or no-shows, will be charged a fee of $25 per person (or the full ticket price for ticketed holiday events) to the credit card on file.
3. Group Bookings & Large Parties
- For parties of 7 or more, please contact our events team directly to arrange your booking.
- Automatic Gratuity: In accordance with California consumer disclosure regulations, we explicitly state that an automatic service charge (gratuity) of 20% will be added to the final bill for parties of 6 or more.
- Single Checks: We allow a maximum of 3 credit cards per table to split the final dining bill.
4. Outdoor Seating & Dining Requests
- We offer seating in our indoor dining room and our outdoor patio. Patio reservations are subject to weather conditions.
- While we make every effort to accommodate specific table requests (such as booth seating or patio placement), table locations are never guaranteed.
5. Health & Safety Adherence
Ellie's operates in strict compliance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health regulations. If you or any member of your party have severe food allergies, please inform your server before ordering so our kitchen staff can take precautions.
